10 Bible Verses You Should Meditate On When Trying To Understand Purpose

Not having an idea of what God has called you to do can be an emotional and very difficult journey. Trust me, I know! Before I gained a bit of an understanding of what God wanted me to do, I experienced many nights filled with tears and confusion regarding my purpose to the extent that I almost stopped believing that my life had true meaning. If that is how you are feeling in this season of your life, take some time to meditate on the following 10 Bible verses:

Jeremiah 29:11

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Proverbs 3:5-6

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths".

Philippians 4:6

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God".

Philippians 1:6

"Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus"

Proverbs 16:9

"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing"

Matthew 22:36-40

"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments".

Matthew 6:33

"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

Galatians 6:2

"Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ".
